Australian Alpacas Arrive

Our 6 alpacas from Softfoot arrived early this morning into Auckland Airport.
They are all enjoying themselves after spending most of 2013 in quarantine and off grass.
The photo below is of the 4 yearlings on their first day at our farm. We will keep them on a fairly bare paddock over the next few days to let their stomachs adjust to a pasture diet again. Although as you can see by the photo the drought is certainly taking a toll on our grass.
